Question by countrygyrl: When do the engagement announcements go out if there has been a death in the family or serious illness?
Also, other then a death or serious illness in the family is there another time when it is inappropriate to announce the engagement?
I should add that this question is for a class that I am taking on Wedding Etiquette.
