Question by Sharon: I've sent my fiancees parents, and my parents emails asking them about engagement party etiquette.?
They've both emailed me links that say it is ok for the couple to throw their own party (which makes it obvious to me that neither of them will be throwing it for us), yet on this forum, I see that everyone thinks throwing your own party is a bad thing.
