Question by resqchic1066: What is the proper etiquette for inviting friends to our engagement party but not the wedding?
We are getting married in 10/2010 and my fiance and I volunteer in numerous fire departments and EMS agencies. We unfortunately can not invite everyone to our wedding but we want them to celebrate with us. Is there a way to invite people to our engagement party next summer but not the wedding? It will be a laid back atmosphere and we don't want them to bring gifts, just
